Fun family game.

I bought this game for my friend's two children. They love boba tea and love to play games, so I thought this would be the perfect game for them for Christmas. I really didn't expect it to be that great to be honest, but we have all been playing it for hours and hours! The instructions are clear and simple, and it is easy to pick up immediately. Even though it is simple to learn, the game is still complex and keeps things interesting (even after playing for hours).

This was a pretty complicated game and I'm not sure we completely understood everything about it. My daughter (age 10) loves boba tea so I got this for her for Christmas. But we only played one game before she was pretty much done with it. Not sure if I'm missing something but it felt overly complicated to keep track of, and was not as much fun as I was hoping it would be.

I have bought 8 total (4-1st edition and 4-2nd edition) plus one Legends of Matcha and have given it out to many friends and families! The game is so fun and challenging and the illustrations are so cute! I have a big boba sticker from the game on my water bottle! You will not regret it and will be buying more to share with family and friends!

To be honest, we weren't sure what to expect from this game. Some of the rules were confusing at first, as we're trying to figure it out. But once we did it was a lot of fun! There was definitely a lot of laughter and who knew that a customer loyalty card could be so evil! LOL Can't wait to get my hands on an expansion pack!

Absolutely love this game! A basic game with 2 people goes for about 15 minutes, which we love! It’s quick and easy to learn. Had to improvise some little problems we ran into that weren’t mentioned in the rules, but nothing too major.

Ordered this game off Facebook and was a little worried it was a scam because it didn't arrive 4 days after it was supposed to. I reached out to the team and they immediately replied and sent me a replacement, no questions asked. Very imrpressed with the customer service. The game finally arrived in perfect condition and I just tried it last night. Very easy to pick up and I love how thematic it is. The action cards and toppings are realistic (ie health inspector makes you throw out "bad" ingredients). Also love the artwork. Taking a star off because there were a couple cards with actions that aren't clearly defined and there are only 2 recipe cards (a cheat sheet for the actions you can take and the drink combos that can be built) , even though it can be up to a 5 person game. It's also expensive for how much is included in the game itself. But still fun and still worth it!

Super cute boba game. I am obsessed with boba and so are a lot of my friends, so I was super excited to be able to get and review this game. The cards are really cute and the game mechanic is actually very similar to monopoly deal if you have played that, just completing 5 sets of boba to win, so I love that it's easy to learn and play with new crowds. It's quick to set up and play as well, with my first 2 player game only taking 30 minutes total to learn and play through. The packaging is also very portable so will be good to bring it while traveling as well. I especially like the quick rule "cheat sheet" cards, and how most rules are written on the cards, which makes it even easier to learn and play.

A quick fun game with a BOBA theme! I am a boba tea enthusiast (to put it mildly) and many of my friends share the obsession. We were thrilled to discover this card game. Sabobatage is a straightforward game that is pretty easy to learn; even my husband, who is generally not a board game fan, was able to pick it up after just a couple of rounds. It’s a fun game to play with just two people; a standard game will only last about 10-15 minutes, at least in our group. But it gets really exciting and energetic when playing with a larger group because there’s a lot more sneaky action and strategy at play. I like that this game can appeal to a wide range of ages. It’s simple enough that an elementary school student can pick it up, but engaging enough that adults will keep playing. It makes it a great game for family gatherings.

Super fun group game! Make your own boba teas and mess with other people to win! It’s pretty easy. My 7 year old lives playing the game with us. The only thing I wish it had mire if is the recipe cards. Each game comes with two recipe cards, but you can always make copies. Love the game.

Fun family game. Great little game for family and friends! Especially if you love bubble tea. I like how 'modern' this game is - the references to getting 5-star reviews, dealing with health inspectors - it's just small game mechanics that are wrapped in this "running a tea shop" aesthetic that is really fun. The graphics themselves are also very adorable. The game itself is pretty high quality also - cards have a nice coat on them, so I don't worry about them wearing out too much over time.

Easy to learn rules, fun for the Boba tea lovers in the family, super adorable artwork The rules for this game are quite identical to another game dealing with ramen noodles. Learning the rules were quite simple and it is all about building boba tea sets and gaining points as quickly as possible. However, depending on your players, one can sabotage your tea or by taking an ingredient and gain an advantage over you, but it is all in great fun. My kids love board games and they love boba tea, and I am a HUGE fan of board games, so in our family this game is a win win for us. Kudos to the artist as well. the artwork is super adorable, makes you easily hungry even if you are not. Comes in a nice well made box, with a nice hefty insert. Easily makes a great stocking stuffer or gift in general for anyone, but especially that much more for the boba tea lover.

One of the Best Games of the Year! We try to have a family game night every Sunday, so I have a blast selecting new games for us to try. I really think this is one of the best new games of the year! It is pretty simple to learn and play. The graphics on the cards are so, so adorable. You can play with anywhere from 2-5 players and children, teens, and adults will all love it. You do need to be able to read and have pretty strong reasoning/strategy to be able to play effectively. It is recommended for ages 7 and up, but I think that younger kids may not enjoy it as much, particularly as you can do things like "steal" cards from other players. The game play time is ideal (10-30 minutes a round). Honestly, we all LOVED this game. The only thing is it makes you really crave Boba!

Fun card game for all ages. We've played this game twice now with our kids (5 - 11), and we had lots of fun with it. The game concepts are pretty easy to teach and learn, and even though our youngest doesn't always make the most advantageous plays, we all still had fun with it. The cards are good quality and have a nice finish to them. The artwork is fun, even for someone like me who hasn't ever even had boba before. At around $30 I think its a bit steep for a card game, but it is a good family-friendly game that is fun for the adults too, so if you get it on sale or don't mind paying a premium for a good game I recommend it.

Cute But Competitive. This game was soooo cute and adorable. I wish I loved it but the game was just too competitive for my taste, and a bit slow paced for what it was. I'm going to adjust the deck and find a better way to play this game that matches the vibe of the deck. Great game, just not for me! Others that love competitive/attack games might find this too slow paced? I had feedback from the friends I played it with saying it took up a lot of time.

An instant family favorite. This game has become one of our daughters' favorite games to play since the day that it arrived. The instructions were clear enough for even elementary-aged kids to understand. One of the parts that is the most fun about this game is how quickly tides can turn throughout the game. In just one turn, a player who thought they were well out ahead could be brought back into the fold with the rest of the players.

Fun for family, easy to learn. I got this to play with my family who loves boba and boardgames. All the kids aged 10-22 played and were able to get the hang of the game within 10 minutes. The goal is to build 4 complete drinks with your ingredient cards while the other players try to stop you with action cards. The graphics are cute and clean, there aren’t too many pieces, and the game is compact if you want to bring it somewhere.

A little expensive, but fun. This is a draw and discard strategy card game. The idea is to collect cards to “build” boba drinks. The first to create five drinks wins. There are two recipe cards shared amongst the (up to) five players. The deck includes sabotage cards to be played against other players to slow their progress. Each game is fairly quick and holds the interest of younger players. This is great in that it can be played successfully by a wide age range. The youngest I’ve played with so far is a ten year old, but it was very easy for her to understand and play well. It’s a smaller game, so it doesn’t take up much storage space which is nice. It’s great for travel. However, given the size, I’d expect it to be more in the $15 or $20 range. I’m happy with the game. The kids are also enjoying it. I don’t think I’d pay $30 for it if I saw it for sale at a store somewhere.

Very fun! Once we played one round we caught on quick. We played with 2 adults and 2 teenagers the first time and it was so fun! Played with our 11 year old and he got it quick. Fun for the whole family. It does involve some strategy and being able to hold a hand of cards, so probably not great for young kids for that reason.

I'm a huge fan of card games, and I am also a lover of boba. This is absolutely genius! Got this boba card game to play with friends and colleagues on the weekends, and we have such a blast. It's quite easy to pick up and the illustrations are beautiful. Whether it is on the beach, at the house, or even waiting at the restaurant, this is a must-have card game set.

And it's a great game with fun art and a basic action-based strategy that will feel familiar to those who've played other games like Smashing Kittens.... This game is based on Boba tea. You have to build five Boba teas and you collect cards to make those teas. But there are cards that can be played to cause problems for you and others building those teas and there are cards that can protect the teas you're building. You can be Sabobataged and end up with your drinks stolen--especially if you're in the lead since the leader tends to get ganged up on. This game's ease of play, fun theme and enjoyable artwork make it a great game for your family's collection. The game can handle 2-5 players.
